Acarbose drug is used in diabetes mellitus (type 2) treatment of hyperglycemia - high blood sugar. It's also sometime used as treatment for pre-diabetics. Acarbose dosage:
Take 1 to 3 tablets daily for antiaging or appetite supression. Acarbose tablets should be chewed or swallowed prior to a meal.

Side effects
Acarbose has excellent safety record and remains effective in long-term therapy for at least 5 years. Initially some side effects may include flatulence, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
