Tamiflu is a potent antiviral drug used to fight influenza virus. Along with Relenza, Tamiflu one of only two neuraminidase inhibitors currently available. These medications attack the influenza virus and prevent it from spreading inside your body. Tamiflu dosage:
For the prevention of influenza, take one capsule once daily, for at least 7 days. Best if taken within 48 hours of possible exposure. For the treatment of inluenza, take 2 Tamiflu capsules daily, for at least 5 days, or while symptoms persist.
