Antiviral Drugs

Used specifically for the treatment and prevention of viral infections, there is a whole range of antiviral drugs available. Each antiviral drug is used to treat specific viruses. Unlike antibiotics (who destroy viruses) however, antiviral drugs only inhibit their development.
